Cold Rolled Steel Bars
While cold rolling is a specific manufacturing process, this term is often used interchangeably to describe a variety of different cold finishing processes.
In contrast to hot rolled steel, which is shaped at a high temperature, cold rolled steel is processed near room temperature. The cold rolling process involves passing steel through rollers to achieve the required thickness and finish. In general, cold rolling is a more cost-intensive process compared to hot rolling but allows for smoother finishes and tighter tolerances.
